About Meemaws
Jesus’ Church Without Walls
Meemaws began as a simple idea: feed people with love, dignity, and no strings attached. What started as a “pay what you can” restaurant in Eastern Oregon quickly became something much deeper—a ministry led by Jesus to serve His sheep wherever they are.
In July 2024, we closed the doors to our original restaurant, not because the mission ended, but because it expanded. Jesus called us to go beyond the walls—to travel full-time, bringing food, hope, and the Gospel to communities near and far. We’re now planting roots in McMinnville, Oregon while continuing our mobile outreach, feeding bodies and souls across the region and beyond.
At Meemaws, we believe church isn’t a building—it’s a movement of love. Whether it’s a hot meal, a prayer, or a moment of connection, we show up with open hands and open hearts, trusting Jesus to lead the way.

How can I get involved with Meemaws?
There are many ways to get involved and help us in our mission:
Donate: Your financial support helps us keep the doors open and meals on the table for seniors. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a big difference.
Volunteer: We are always looking for people to help us with feeds in diffferent communites, manage a giving pantry in your community and so many different ways! Sign up to volunteer here.
Spread the Word: Help us raise awareness by sharing our mission with your friends, family, and social media followers. The more people who know about us, the more seniors we can reach!
How can I donate to support Meemaws?
We are a 100% donor-funded organization, and your support allows us to continue providing meals for everyone.
To donate, simply head over to our Donation Page where you can make a one-time contribution or sign up for recurring donations.
How do I follow Meemaws’ journey across the country?
You can follow along with our travels as we work to expand to new locations. We share regular updates on our live map and on our social media platforms. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to get updates directly in your inbox!
Is there a cost for the meals?
Meemaws is a pay-what-you-can system, which means everyone is welcome to eat regardless of their ability to pay. Whether you're able to contribute a little or more, your donation helps ensure that we can keep offering free meals to those who are unable to pay. If you're able to donate, any contribution is greatly appreciated, but it’s not required to enjoy a meal with us.
